Once or twice a year, the entire Shanti Travel team embarks on a much-awaited incentive weekend—an occasion to reinforce bonds, launch new projects, and create lasting memories. Most recently, nearly 60 participants were spirited away from the hustle and bustle of New Delhi for a unique rural adventure. To keep excitement high, the destination was kept secret until the last moment, igniting anticipation for everyone from tour leaders to travel designers. Nobody could resist the call!

A Surprising Haryana Retreat

After a short drive, the surprise unfolded: a charming farmhouse nestled in Haryana, fringed by a tranquil lake and surrounded by traditional farmland. A festive welcome by the hosts and villagers, marked by the vibrant tikka ceremony, set the tone for a weekend immersed in Indian hospitality—a true highlight for any trip to India.

Rural Comfort and Local Traditions

Participants enjoyed an authentic rural experience—women shared cozy rooms in the farmhouse while the men camped in comfortable tents outside. Throughout the weekend, the generosity of our hosts and the warmth of the village community made everyone feel at home. The group was quickly swept up in a lively schedule, from foot races through cornfields to cycling challenges orchestrated by our passionate host, Kunwar. Local residents joined in the fun, cheering us on and adding to the festive spirit.

Team Building Through Challenge and Discovery

Between tractor rides across the farmland and boat trips on the lake, everyone found a favorite activity. Friendly competitions, such as bike races and traditional games, brought out the best in every team member. Others embraced local farm life—chasing geese, milking cows, or simply soaking in the serenity. These experiences fostered a strong sense of togetherness and showcased a vibrant side of India beyond the ordinary.

As evening approached, the focus shifted to celebrating successes and sharing the company’s yearly progress. Team talents were recognized, and anticipation for new projects grew, notably with announcements of new offices and innovative travel destinations.
