Just 11 km from Jaipur, Amer Fort greets visitors with panoramic vistas and majestic ramparts atop its hill. Explore the Sheesh Mahal, Diwan-i-Aam, and the impressive subterranean passages leading to Jaigarh Fort. Open from 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM, entry is ₹100 for Indian nationals and ₹550 for foreign tourists. Perched on the edge of the Aravalli hills, Nahargarh Fort offers sweeping views of Jaipur’s skyline, especially enchanting at sunset. Built in the 1700s, the fort features intricate frescoes and a labyrinth of courtyards and rooms. The fort welcomes visitors from 10:00 AM to 5:30 PM, with entry fees set at ₹50 for Indian citizens and ₹200 for foreigners. The pleasant winter months from November to February are ideal for a visit.
Towering above Amer Fort on the Aravalli crest, Jaigarh Fort once protected its neighboring stronghold. Walk the 3-kilometer ramparts and discover the world’s largest historic cannon on wheels, surrounded by breathtaking mountain scenery. Jaigarh is open approximately from 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM; entry fees are similar to those at Nahargarh and are best confirmed onsite.
